Imladris Summer Sanctuary shimmers in this stunning blend of Egyptian Mako cotton and Bourette silk. Mako cotton is known for its incredible sheen. Here, in contrast with the matt silk Bourette texture it creates an elegant and stunning fabric with an eye-catching shine.

Mercerized Egyptian Supima cotton is an extra-long staple cotton known for its softness and sheen. Mercerization is a process that makes the fibres stronger and more resistant to piling. It also improves the depth of colour the fibres can take and gives the fabric an incredible lustre.

This fabric is soft and mouldable. Passes glide easily into place making it easy to work with. It is suitable for wrapping newborn babies, but the delicate strength from the silk yarn makes it also suitable for carrying up through to toddlerhood when using multi-layer carries. Very thin in hand, lightweight and breathable this is a great wrap for warm weather.

The verdant paradise of Rivendell, depicted in an Art Nouveau style, sits below a moody purple twilight sky. This gradually transitions through rich cerise and flows into a vibrant raspberry pink. The blue Bourette silk weft is speckled with characteristic light flecks which add to the intricacies of the scene and create a sparkling night sky effect. While the high shine adds a touch of luxury, catching the light and bringing the landscape to life with every movement.
